I am happy to consider any type of work, projects large or small, but areas of specialist knowledge, based on career history and education are: IT, sociology, psychology, economics and politics.

 

I will proofread both hard copy and on-screen. Hard copy proofreading is performed using the British Standard Institute's (BSI) proof-correction marks: BS 5261C:2005 which are recognised throughout Britain and increasingly around the world.

 

On-screen proofreading can be executed on either Microsoft Word or PDF documents. Microsoft Word uses the Track Changes function to highlight changes, queries and suggestions. PDF documents are corrected using a PDF editor such as Adobe Acrobat Pro or Foxit Reader.
